I picked up this old two blade jack. Obviously someone got fancy with a grinder and made a new blade shape of what was probably a pen or long spey?. My question is about the cracks in the front cover. Should I do anything about it like put some thin CA in the crack to stabalize etc?

Dave, nice jack! Was also known as a Texas jack back in the Cut. Co. days. That was a pen blade at one time, I'm wondering if maybe a previous owner possibly snapped off the tip, the clip blade's in great shape. CA works just fine, only use a small amount as it does run. Just use enough to fill the crack a bit, then wait for it to dry for an hour or so and repeat so that you build it up a bit in the crack, usually the first application shrinks down into the void.

Eric

PS, that center pin will likely only need one shot, that crack is only a thin hairline.
