Found these pix on my hard drive, don't remember where I got the pix from. Anyway from the titles I'm assuming the where made in SA before the move to the US.

OK, Dave, that is mine. That is a pre-Sebenza, a D2 bladed ti-handled frame lock that Chris made before the "H" marked Sebenzas. Very much hand made!

I've got this pic on my harddrive. Somewhere I also have the description of the models but would need to look that up. I think it has been posted here on the forums. The one on the left is the oldest. IIRC it was called the 'south african'

Those are mine as well. The one on the far left is the SA #30 that Dave posted a picture of, next (l2r) is handmade Sebenza #H32, production Sebenza #P34, a large "P" Sebenza (clipless), "Galuka" prototype of the new style large Sebenza that I bought from Scott Cook, and a large flat ground Sebenza signed by Chris Reeve.

James, nice very nice, of course!

I've had a few pass through my shop, and one I had once had handle
scales that were WAY thicker than those being made now a days.

Not sure how many of those were made?

Gary, the SA and "H" Sebenzas have thicker handle scales, the numbered "P" has the same scale thickness as the "P" marked large that I bought from you. You will also note that the neither has the locator hole in the handle scale they use for machining.

Ouch.... I think I banged my head when I passed out after looking at those. ;) Nice stuff ya got there, James.
