Old Sheffield lockback steel

Hello I picked up an old sheffield lockback knife at a thrift store, it looks like a buck 110 copy. And I was wondering what steel the blade is made from? It simply says 'Stainless'. (btw the pic isn't mine, I just looked up a picture)
