I just traded (my Cold Steel Tanto) for a (NIB) old (non-serrated SK-5) version of the Tigershark. Does anyone have a picture of this non-serrated version that you can post for me?

I used to love to fondle that mod at the Army store I frequenred years back. Excellent acquisition. Tell you what, send it to me, I will take pictures for you, post them and mail your knife back to ya.
Just letting you know, I'm here for ya man.

Somehow it looks small beside the TL...:D
Not the greatest pic, but... you notice the recurve more on the non-serrated ones.

Thanks!...And now I'll have an old-style Tigershark to go with my new-style Tigershark..

I received my new (old-style) Tigershark a few minutes ago, and after a few passes on my Spyderco Sharpmaker (the edge had a couple of minor "flat spots"...wire-edge I think), this big knife IS SHARP!!!...And I like the fact that there are none of those pesky serrations on this old-style Tigershark!...And I like this carbon SK-5 steel!...And I like the leather sheath...And...:D.

Way Cool !!! Congratulations !!!

My SK-5 Tigershark now has a couple of serrations near the tip. Seems that a month ago I was in the hills doing some trail clearing. Well, before I realized it, I'd whapped a big rock a couple of times...

I've been sharpening away, and diamond-stoning away, and ceramic-rodding away, but those pesky dents are still there. One of these days.....

Cheers,

Carl
