Son, you've got something there. Traditional bolster, original style rivets (I've never seen that), tooled scabbard. Outstanding! :thumbup: If it's not yours already, you'd better jump on it! And yes, it's chiruwa.

I have a Kobra by the kamis with no name (KWNN was a team effort). Really good stuff from those guys! Buy it, I say!

"Terry Sisco, the sheath guy, about 3 1/2 or 4 yrs ago" is the origin and age of my new to me M43... handle might be american walnut. so... interesting :)

looks like a neat little blade, and i definitely didn't have an M43 of any kind and have been wanting a "mark" blade a while :) win!

Hmm, that left hand holding that khuk looks familiar :)
Notice the old jagged scar below the thumb? It says "Be careful with sharp objects."
