I came across 2 of what I think are the very first spyderco's.
All silver, what looks to be solid machined aluminum handles.
No markings of blade steel.
I bought them about 18 years ago. One is a 2 inch plain blade, I recall it being called a co-pilot or executive, and the other is a hunter, with a serrated blade, about 3 inches.

Can someone give me a opinion on value and collectable or not? Thanks

http://www.ted.tweakdsl.nl/spyderco/spyderco.htmlyou might want to start their to identify the actual spyderco.there's also a site that lists approximate values for spyderco's are might be a link I didn't dig it up.off the top of my head, I'd say they're probably not worth more than $100 apiece new in box, if they are 2 screw first production runs or something like that they may be worth more but probably not more than 200 piece at the very wacky outside. I'm not really an expert though, but it least that something to work with.

I can attest to that site of Ted's. It's the best one of I know of that has the older Spyders fully archived. Also there is a guy up in Washington state named Spyderwa who has a really decent site. Also a guy named Paul Beretta also has a nice site for some of Spyderco's special editions and more popular models.
