Hello, I'm looking to find out a few things about this knife.
I've owned it for nearly 30 years if not a few more I'm original owner and no I'm not looking to sell it.
What gets me is the ways the pocket clip is for lack of better terms, shaved off the back and made into the clip.
Questions:
What year made?
Model number or name (if applicable)?
Thanks for any help,
Paul H

Appreciate the information did not know there was such a list.
I'll of course take a look at its value, but it really is and was my first knife I put to use as a daily "carry" and will never go anywhere.
Thanks again.

That's even a Golden Oldie for me and I pride myself in having some expertise in Spyderco's old school models. That is the STANDARD model and if I remember right I believe I had one of those with a G-10 handle at one time. And please correct me if I'm wrong and have it confused with another older model. But I do remember one of my Brethren on the other Forum really wanted that knife in the worst way and he traded me very well for it. It must have been a really rare bird with a G-10 handle.

I honestly could not tell you anything in regards to any other model they may or may not have had at the time.
I took it out and just looked at it and the clip just jumped at me, as to how"odd" it appeared. I literally bought it in the mid 80s maybe 83, 84.
With a bit of TLC it would look cleaner, but unless I pop those (I don't know pins) but there is only one way they are incerted, nor is there any screws on it to disassemble it.
