Picked up a very lightly used Spyderco Police recently. This is the G-2 stainless version with completely blacked out blade and scales. Has the single position metal clip for right hand tip down carry. Sweet little piece, looks to have the factory edge still and just a touch of pocket wear on the black finish. Only problem is that I carry southpaw (required) and tip up (preferred). Any reason NOT to drill out a new clip mount? Probably something I can handle, though I'd need at least the proper tap... but is there a recommended shop or individual that would tackle this task reasonably?

Carrying mine today as a matter of fact. I personally wouldn't tinker with such a cool old piece (I haven't seen all that many all black ones) when you can find 4-way versions of the Police. I took and posted these pics earlier, but since you brought it up...

I have a gin 1 Po-Po in my pocket, begging me to save his brother!

Please listen to Officers match! He's all for tip up mods however that's a piece of history.

Based upon the number of "likes" I've received where I've posted mine, I'd say there exists a good amount of interest in seeing pics of yours (hint, hint).
