Old style LM Waves selling at a discount...

I live in an area that has several Wal*Marts, and, while most of them are selling the old style Leatherman Wave for $64.88, there's one store that's selling them for $54.93. If you're interested, I'd suggest calling your local Wal*Mart store(s), ask for the Sporting Goods Dept., and quiz them on their prices.

Yeah i just got one for that price in northern va last week. Im pleased with the old style for that much less.*Edit* i went there today to see if they had the new wave(which they didnt) and while i watched him look through the drawer i seen some Super Tool 200's and PST. I gotta new PST for 30 bucks. Didnt think that was to bad what y'all think?
 
Let this be a lesson, whenever the Wal*Mart associate is checking into those locked drawers, look over their shoulder and see what else they've got lurking inside. I had to "find" a Buck 110 one time, when the store's night manager couldn't spot one on his own. ;)

Yeah, i wanted to buy a new wave or blast but he didnt have either one, oh well,im putting the pst in my glove department today for a backup.
 
Target has the blast for 49.99. They don't have the new wave yet.
Though they tend to run out often.
 
<---- former Walmart employee all walmarts should have it for the same lower price... even if there display case doesn't say its that price, have them price check it, should ring up at 55ish, when we got the new knife case in for the store I worked at (marinette, WI) it had it listed at the 60+ price, but rang up (from the day we got the new case) at 55.

Hard telling. Sometimes the only thing changing in the knife displays are the prices. That $54.93 old style Wave price was available last fall at another local Wal*Mart, then, that Wal*Mart moved the old style Wave price up to $64.88. About three weeks later, another local Wal*Mart moved their old style Wave price down from $64.88 to the $54.93 price.

Well, actually, I'm here to report that one of my local Wal*Marts has changed it's knife and multi-tool display in the last week. The new Leatherman Wave, Blast, and Fuse are now a part of the display. I was once again lucky that the Sporting Goods associate wasn't anywhere to be found...otherwise I'd have bought one. :D The new Wave is going for about $69, before sales tax. One thing that I couldn't find-out was whether Wal*Mart also carries the bit set that fits the new Wave.
