Old Style 'Zaan Pivot Tool

Hi guys. Always wanted one and stumbled across a LNIB left handed tanto 'Zaan (no LBS!) for a fair price and it is currently in route. Super excited to put this in my EDC rotation. Anyway, I enjoy taking down and cleaning my lefty Sebenza but how in the hell do you do it with the old style pivot?

Not clear if it comes with the correct tool or do you have to fabricate one yourself?

If you fabricated one, how the hell do you do it?

I just picked up a pair.
I've found that one has been enough almost every time I took my knives apart with the old delrin CRK version but I have two old pivot knives and figured better safe than sorry.

Bill has been a pleasure to deal with and has been very quick to reply to my questions. I'm really looking forward to getting the tools.
 
Bhyde is the one to ask on your side of the pond, as mentioned.

I only ever seem to need one tool, there is no harm in having an extra one though. I carry a single Ti pivot tool on my keys and it's all I have ever needed so far. :):thumbup:

I've admired that pivot tool that you posted pics of some time ago, I've thought about pestering you to see if you would make me one many times- but then I'd have to beg you to make me one of the little key holders as well, and if I was going that far then I'd try to get you to make me some Ti inlays for a Mnandi. I figured that by then you'd either be getting fed up with me or it'd be getting too expensive for my own good, possibly both ;D

I do have one or two kicking about somewhere. I'll shoot you message if I can find one tomorrow at the mess...I mean shop. :p
