 When did they add the pliers to the Swiss Champ? In a knife discussion I referred to an old model Swiss Champ by that name and when I looked it up to settle hte disagreement on the knife models name the only Swis champ knives I can find have pliers which this knife does not. Any suggestions for finding a old Swiss Champ Blade List?

Thanks,

I have (had) what I believed to be an older version of the Swiss Champ, and it did not have pliers. I actually found it laying in my parent's yard and we could never find anyone to claim ownership. So I had it for years, but I haven't been able to find it in recent years. :(

O.K. so I didn't know what I was talking about. The knife is actually the Swiss Officers Champion discontinued in 1986. The Swiss Champ came out with additional features in 1987.

FYI
