For the life of me I can't remember seeing it though or when there was great stress here. What was going on?
I can't think of anything other than minor irritations on the board.

It was just a few days before the Twin Towers murders(9/11)et al, and for whatever reason there had been numerous flame wars and the like, some bannings too, IIRC.

Whatever, it was funny to me. :D

Mike Fitzgerald, I sure wouldn't mind tempering a few ah........blades, yeah, that's it.......tempering blades. Hemp temper! :eek: ;) :D
 
Though, generally, knifemaking is a lot of fun, that would definitely have to be the "high" point of the process. :)
 
Now and then, we get a smart and witty thread that helps to light up everyone's day. That thread was one of those gems that came along when it was needed. :)
