I had one about 30 years ago. Cheap black painted steel. The idea was that it would stick anyway you threw it. I only had luck throwing it like any other knife and got the main point to stick. Once in a while one of the star points might catch but not very. It was a gimmick that I had to have in my youth. Not sure what ever happened to it.

I had one about 20 years ago. Mine was black. It was a POS IMHO, I tried to sharpen all the pointy tips to make it stick better.
....aaaah that does bring back memories of my youth though, and all the funky "mall-ninja" things I tried out because they seemed so cool at the time.
...nun-chucks, ninja climbing spikes, throwing stars, croosbow pistols, throwing spikes that hide up your sleave ....good stuff lol!
