It should be a given that thumbs are very important, but who thinks about not being able to use it. I did a new repetitive motion a couple days ago and yesterday my right thumb was sore and useless. Man, what things you can't do without your thumb. Had to get help from the wife to get dressed. Buttons, zippers and shoelaces are a major challenge. Can't even Left Click my mouse with it. I guess knifemaking will have to wait a bit till I repair some.
I think the handle wrap I need to do is going to be postponed too.
Being an old 76 yr. old thumb also doesn't help either. I have it taped to my index finger, to rest it, right now. Take care of your old parts, guys. Heck, take care of the young ones too.

I was just in your neck of the woods this week. I spent the week in Sacramento working. I know what you mean about thumbs. I've injured a thumb or two over the years, and it is quite a nuisance, for such a small body part.

I have a couple fingers and thumbs that I hurt when I was younger, and they definitely feel older than they should, now. Thanks for the reminder! :)
