Old Timer 152 Sheath question

I just recently bought a Shrade Old Timer 152 USA made, it came with original sheath, I bought this knife after seeing my uncles, his also a 152 US and i liked it. I noticed a difference though, his sheath has two leather straps that fold around handle and snap, where as mine only has one leather strap and it folds over lower edge of blade and snaps onto sheath face (pardon my jargon). Was this a running change? which would be older? and does anyone know approx dates the change was made? thanks in advance for any info!

There were two configurations and I think the strap up around the handle was the first of the two, BUT I'm not sure. Codger can probably pin it right down for you.

following the link you gave me, and finding the schrade FAQS i found a very complete posting on the 152, from what i read, looks like mine is earlier than my uncles, thanks!
