Old Timer Ironwood

I had posted about this on the main forum but was told the traditionals forum would be a better place so here goes: does anyone know anything about the old timer Ironwood slip joints? I know they are Chinese and probably not the same quality as the old US made models, I just wondered if someone had any thoughts on them concerning their fit and finish and overall quality.
