I picked up a tackle box at a yard sale the other day that contained 2 boker USA knives and an old timer. not to mention some nice lures. anyway, it was corroded up and figured it was a schrade because of the "old timer" emblem and handle style. When the name was readable on the master blade it read "john primble"?
It's marked John primble

IDW&MFG co.

the sheep foot blade is snapped off and the spey blade has been fixed but the master blade is alright. I have never seen an old timer with the john primble markings, any ideas guys?

Not totaly unusual I have a mint one and another which is toothpick model . Just a nice rarity. Schrade did contract for everyone and Primble was one of them sounds like just a Monday morning mistake with a few blades in the wrong barrel. Busted up and all its value is as a curiosity. Remember with old Schrades the diversity of production and amount made anything is possible. LT
