Last week I bid on two of these and accidentally won both.

Anyone wants the extra, just post below. First person who wants it gets it. Then send a message with your mailing address.

Fifty views and no one wants it? It won't take up much space in your collection rooms. ;)

I liked the patch and appreciated the offer but I thought the extra Canadian shipping fee might be asking too much. A very kind offer but I understand if it's US only.

I think I can afford the postage to Canada. ;)

Send me a PM with your address and it's yours.

The patch is gone to Dave.

I'd love to see what sorts of patches, buckles, or other non-knife items people keep in their Schrade collections.

Gah! Missed it by 2 minutes! Seconds!
You want one of these? Adhesive patches that were sewn onto some Old Timer nylon sheaths. If so, send a PM and I'll get it to you.

Thanks for the offer Bob! Not really interested in the adhesive patch but I appreciate it nonetheless.

That patch may not make it past customs. If you fold it closed, it automaticly opens! :D

I am still wearing my Schrade hats and t-shirts occasionally. I've not worn the belt buckle or hat pins. Or used the thermos. Or worn the dress shirt.

Neat give away Bob! And congrats to the recipient!

Hi Bob,
Those patches are still being used by Schrade today; same patch with no U.S.A.

This Old Timer was made for a sporting company in Australia; I do not know the quantity that came in the shipment.
I have been told there could be one or two in the U.S.A. I know of three in Australia, still in mint conditioning.

I haven't seen those boxes before your's. It's a common style and I've seen them in outdoor stores, but not with the Old Timer logo.

A couple of non-knife items in my Old Timer collection:

Here's what a roll of 1,000 sheath patches looks like:

Man am I sorry. I found your unmailed envelope yesterday. :(
Things got pretty hectic getting ready for the Australia trip, which (seemingly) popped up at the last minute. I must have addressed the envelope, set it aside, and forgot all about it. I mailed it yesterday, and I hope you get it soon.

No problem Bob. Thanks for the update!

The patch arrived safe and sound. It's now a permanent fixture on my display table alongside my Schrade-of-the-month display choices. Thanks again Bob! I like it!

Here's what I consider a great score of ephemera I got a while back. Most of it is too big to fit on my scanner bed so I had to take multiple scans and then stitch them back together as panoramas. It's a bit tedious so I never bothered until now but Bob's genorosity motivated me to get this done.

This awesome lot included a dealer advertising folder from Schrade for 1982. Inside is the complete Schrade 1982 catalog and flyers, the "Point Of Purchase / Point Of Profit Kit", "Dealer Display Contest Entry Form" and flyer, a Schrade bumper sticker and a smaller Schrade "Thank You" sticker. Also included were two large (3-page width "window streamer") banner ads and two counter-top stand-up "counter card" cardboard ads for the "Uncle Henry" and "Old Timer" lines. I think it's complete. There is loads of paperwork in the folder. I didn't scan it all because Larry (lrv) has done a great job on most of it already but here's what I did scan. Enjoy!

Folder is 9-1/2" x 11-3/4" when closed including the tab:

Cover letter from Irv Trachtenberg:

Bumper sticker is 15-3/4" x 3":

Thank You sticker is 5" x 5":

Counter Cards are 9" x 12" (I only show the back of one, the other is the same):

Window Streamers are 25-3/4" x 10-3/4":

p.s. You gotta love the official "Old Timer" guy. It seemed very worthy so I changed my avatar from the drooling Bionic Bigfoot.
