hello i inherited a handful of old knives that were my grandad's. all but one of them are schrades. i grew up loving the 30t cause thats all i ever saw. anyways one of the knives is one of those linerlock trappers and it has no tangstamp of any kind. Was this common?, or did this one just slip through the QA guy or gal? it is an american old timer although it doesn't say it it it was purchased way before the closure as my grandad passed in 1999 i was just curious if anyone else has an unmarked knife? thanks allot

Is there simply no stamp? Or has it been ground off? I've seen both instances. Ground off indicates a factory second. A missing stamp I'm not so sure.

A close up pic of the stamp and the overall knife might be helpful.

That being sai, we here have learned over the years, that with Schrade, quite anything is possible...

i've have a 15 OT with no stamp on it. the only way i figured out what it was was by the shape. no grind marks noticeable. not sure if this is normal for i do have a Schrade Walden 15 OT with the appropriate stamp.
