Well, here it is- My newest member of my little knife family. Thanks to thawk for the giveaway, this is a dandy of a knife. Been carrying it since it arrived and thought I'd share with y'all. I'm not a photographer, so please bear with me. Thanks again and thanks to all of ya for such a great place.

Very cool. Are you going to complete the set?

I want to see them when you do.

That knife looks right at home with the pipe, lighter and watch.

Is that a Bit-O-Honey wrapper wadded up at the back of the table? :D

Im curious what is the pattern number for that knife? Im gonna look into finding one.

I was just looking on the auction sight and there is a lot of U.S built old timers, I'm not sure what there are going for but I'm thinking of putting a bid in myself.:D

Very nice knife. The pipe puts the finishing touch on that picture. Congrats on your win.

Some of the more common models you should be able to pick up unused in the $20 range, or less.

The most rare and long-discontinued models can sell for hundreds of $$.

The Ulster models shown on that tobacco tin will probably be sub-$100.

This is the set that had been on display at the Schrade factory, purchased, luckily, before the prices went high.

Suprisingly seeing as they are out of business rss Schrades still go for less, usually far less, than say an nice 80's model Case. I have gotten quiet a few for great steals aka under 20 dollars.

Defintely like the photo-MAN TOYS from a better time in this politcally correct world we now live in!

I had one exactly like yours. I bought it from a friend about 27 years ago while stationed in Upstate New York. I recently gave it to a friend who drives an oil truck. He'd owned one of these as well, and had lost it. He was very happy to get the replacement!
