OLD TIMERS at Orchard Supply Hardware

I was at Orchard Supply hardware today and they are selling off all their Old Timers at 50% off. I bought 6. Four stockmans, a trapper, and a middleman two blade Jack Knife.

Basically I drained the case at my local OSH. They are putting together a new Knife Display case and the ones they aren't going to carry anymore are being discounted. I saw the new case and wouldn't you know it.. filled with tacticals. Go Figure.

I don't know how popular OSH is around the country but if you live near one you may want to check it out.
 
Nope, don't have an Orchard around here, but I am willing to bet that most Schrade retailers will be closing out soon, selling at a bargain price. You post is appreciated, mstrow.

Let's all keep our eyes open for one another, at the big chain stores sales, eh? I'll be looking for nice Schrade dealer display cases that are almost empty as well.

SMKW features Schrades on the cover of their new cataogue. UH & OT models with 100 year anniversary shields on the handle. Prices are the same as always....no mention at all of the plant closing.
 
I was at the Galyans today in Danvers, Massachusetts....they had a bunch of the Schrade Cigar Box Classics...marked down but not too agressively.
 
I just read another post by another member that his LOCAL SEARS at the Schrade and Case Knives on sale at 50% off.

Now the SEARS I went to does not have a Knife Case but that might be because I have an Orchard Supply Hardware in my area. Check to see if your local sears is "upgrading" its knife case.

I live in Southern California and I am willing to bet that in Northern California and in the normal states other than California your local Sears will have a knife case.
