old trapper id help?

I recently recieved this old German trapper, it is extremely solid has great halfstops, the only markings are on the clip blade one side says solingen, the other is marked GC Co Germany... was wondering if anyone could provide me with more info.

I am pretty sure GC & co was a importer not a manufacturer, who made the knives for them I am not too sure, it would most probably be Wingen or Linder - both of whom made some absolutely great knives., ...I have owned many fixed blades with the same stamping.
Most probably 60's to 70's era, as thats when most of the Solingen knives really hit the U.S scene.

GC = Gutmann Cutlery, maybe? If so, Gutmann is/was an importer/distributor, as Duncan says.
