I think the sheepsfoot became narrower, then the castrating blade became more of a pen blade shape, but I mite be rong it do happen occasionally. :foot:

funny why they changed the sheepfoot blades from the main blade side to the other end,same as the spey blades.neat knives!
I think the older 1's had more belly, the 2 secondary blades were wider, & I agree I think the sheepsfoot & castrating &/or penblades should go back to where they belong. I do like the 3 spring build though. I imagine flat ground is a better slicer.
