Old Wave: UTA or RBD?

This is about the Phillips-head screwdriver on the old (pre-2004) Leatherman Waves - the non-removable ones. Which add-on will fit, the Removable Bit Driver or the Universal Tool Adadpter? I like the UTA, but if given a choice, I think I'd rather have the RBD. They both have the same function, if I'm not mistaken.

they both will fit the old style, I bought the kit meant for the blast/kick/fuse series and the adapter will fit onto the old style wave.

the universal adapter is a bit bulky in comparison.
