old YouTube Knife test video

For the first time I get to watch some of the knife testing videos that you guys are always talking about.

Before today I was on a slow, dial-up computer. But as of right now Im on a very fast over-air system and Im so happy!

This video was the very first one I got to see today.
On my old dial-up it would have taken hours and hours to download, but now I get to just 'click" and play..

I dont have a clue who this guy is in the video, or where he got the toys to send a spear point into solid brick like this, but it was fun to watch.

I did not expect that spear point to hold up as well as it did for so long.
 
I can't believe that they did that at all.

I had not see that video. It is great for the amusement value.
 
That video was made by Noss4 here on Bladeforums he has a knife testing website called knifetest.com
 
Can't watch it! His mask and coveralls are too GD freaky for me to watch. I'm positive this guy has killed other people before! Yeesh! Gives me the willies! :barf:

If you want entertainment, find that video from Home Shopping Network of the guy showing how great the swords are, and he smacks it on the table. That NEVER gets old!

Yes, it was a fun thing to watch.

They also had a really cool, um,,"thing" that could fire a knife into a brick with.
Im not really sure what else they got such a thing for?
But it did come in handy for the video

While I think we all would hate to be that poor guy, forever known as the guy to stuck himself with his own sword...yet,

I feal for the guy too, he was only doing his job selling things as best he could...

and the fact is that such a sword should not snap on you just because of a little slap on a table...it's a SWORD.....swords were used in war....they should be able to handle the stress of getting sold....

I would also hate to have been the guy who made that sword,,,

Those swords are pure junk.They are not really swords,they are sword shaped objects.No one who knows anything about swords would ever buy one to use.Six for $50 tells a lot about the product.

yes, very true, but the guy was just selling them as best he could, and a little spank down on that table was not really all that out of line for a sword...
I feal bad for the guy,,,he must not have had the slightest idea what the limits of that junk were...
