older ATC Ranger hawk

Hi folks, I've got an older ATC spiked ranger hawk with a beautiful presentation grade curly maple handle. I want to put a more durable handle on this one and include it in my emergency bag. Any ideas on where to get a handle that will fit it? Ash or Hickory. The hawk head hole is tear dropped shape. Any suggestions are appreciated.
