Hey folks,
I am experimenting with adding pictures to a post. Here, hopefully, are some pictures of some knives in my collection that you may enjoy.
Take care,

Hmmm,
Well at least one of them showed up, too bad it is the worst one in the lot! Here is another try.

Very interesting, Joe. How about a description to go with the knives. Also, maybe Buck could have a picture archive of old Buck knives on it's web site.

Marty,
It never even occurred to me to explain the pictures. I was so excited to have posted my first picture that i forgot to tell what it was!
I did talk to our web guy about an archive of pictures, with explanations, for our web site. It won't happen fast, since he threw it back in my lap, but it will get done.
Here is the info on those pictures:
First one is from 1948-1951, a 108 Sportsman with lucite handle.
Second was a 106 "hunting-fishing knife", from 1945 or earlier, with a masonite handle.
The third was a 116 Woodsman set from 1951-1954, with lucite handles.

Take care,

Joe: These pics are super cool. I love seeing old knives that seemingly have been through EVERYTHING.
