Older Bucklite Question .

Hi guys , I was lucky enough to win a Bucklite on ebay an was wondering when it was made . I ran a search but could not find the info I was looking for .
The knife is black and is pinned in four places . The blade is stamped BUCK and benath that 422 with a dot after the 422 sort of in the middle . Benath that is U.S.A. .
I am really happy to have this knife . I had one like it when I was a boy except mine was green . I don't rember if it was pinned in four places or not , seems like it might have only been pinned twice .

Jim,
The dot makes that knife from 1984 or 1985. The original you owned should have had the same three handle rivet, one rocker rivet placement.

Thanks Larry . When did BUCK change the Bucklite to a one rivet one rocker rivet assembly .

That would have been when they switched to a one piece handle. The first catalog that shows that change is dated 1988.
