I have not had this knife out in a while and I had forgotten how cool it looks. I am pretty sure I bought this back in the late 2000's. Checking the Fiddleback website it looks like the newer Camp Knives are no longer fully flat-ground as mine is. Does anyone recall what Andy called this blade finish?

edit: just found an old post of mine, this was a 2011 Blade Show knife.

One of the favorite ive done.
I can see why, and I am glad you remember it. This knife is art. I was thrilled at the time I bought it and I still am ten years later.

edit: I have been wondering what the spalting looks like and it struck me, cherry blossoms.

There's a lot to like about that knife. I know they are meant to be used, but I just couldn't do it with that one.

Thank you, I agree. I too like to use my knives - not just look at them. But the pattern and finish on this one are kind of special and I have somehow managed not to screw it up in the ten years I've owned it. I am going to try and keep it that way.
