In a post in the knives for sale area I saw a CR knife that sparked my interest. It had a 12" blade and a 6" handle. It was constructed just like any of the present one piece models but it was bigger. I think the original awner said it was made from 5/16" stock so it was a thick piece. Does anyone know what this piece was? How much was it? Where can i find one short of getting one made special? And what it's name was? i think it was an older edition like 4 to 5 years ago so it was nothing recent. Can you guys help me out. thanks for any and all of your help.

I believe that CRK made 13 of the "oversize" One-Piece knives like you describe, with different patterns. A Sable in that range passed through my hands last year...

James is exactly correct! About 4 years ago Chris made 13 of the oversized one-piece knives. Our records are sketchy but there were about 4 made after the Sable design. They sold for about $550-$600 each.
I hope this helps,
Mark
