Hello All,

It seems like the older Kershaw models have been forgotten.

Are they still around ?, if so please post your pictures.

Here is a picture of one to start the ball rolling, it is a "Gentleman's Knife".

Here is my Kershaw family- a couple of old ones in there.

I don't remember where I got the little folder on the left end. It was small enough that it used to be allowed on commercial airplanes so I carried it for that. The fixed blade on the right was one that I bought for camping. I didn't want to chop wood with it, just perform cutting chores. I thought it might be useful because of the serrations but they are actually cut at too big of an angle to be very useful.

(don't know why my photo didn't post the first time but here it is... )

Very cool!

That's a nice collection of fixed blades there.

My Storm II with my Wild Wild Turkey. Definitely 2 of my favorites.

I just remembered this one. Model 2030 made with AUS-8.

I love the Cyclone. I wish they hadn't had issues with the switch. I've got an early one with the switch and love it. That huge handle shape fits my hands well. The 0300 is the only knife more comfortable for me. But its not the size its how you use it :P The 0560's smaller rounder handles are best for using.

I don't know that that style blade is good general purpose but I love the way they look. I wish somewhere close carried the One Ton or 0 Tension. Next order from Cabela's I'll have to get one.

Does anyone own any of the Golden Eagle/Boar/? knives to post pics of? I think RxEnergy has all 3. I'd like to see photos of some of the old scrimshaw knives also.

Not really old but maybe forgotten. Kershaw Splinter. Haven't really seen much about them in the forums and it took me a while to get all of them (non-serrated versions). I wonder if there were any special editions?

I'm quite pissed at myself for ever selling my Cyclone. I still have this Mini Cyclone and love it. I carry it nearly every day and was really happy to find it after they discontinued this model. I actually got turned on to it, because Alton Brown mentioned it was what he was carrying while on the road for one of his motorcycle trips he did for Food Network.

If I remember correctly, there was a semi-traditional pattern with a locking main blade and one or two additional slipjoint blades; integral frame with wood(?) inserts.

Stupidly, I did not buy one at the time. Does anyone have an example?

I love the splinters, they have a beautiful steel and sleek handle shape. I'm going to be digging through garage sales all summer long trying to get some.

I can't remember the model # off the top of my head but one of my favorite knives ever is the Kershaw Sapphire. Nice little folder that was my edc for years. It's retired now but I'll pull it out and snap a pic when I get home.
