I have a Kershaw hunting knife with a 8 inch Bowie type blade which it stamped KIA 1550. I have had the knife for about 12 years. Does anyone know what blade steel they used in this knife. Its a very good knife although I have mot used it much because of having so many other knives, Thanks for any info.
I have another one that I bought at about the same time which has a bit shorter blade with a more pernounced up sweep or Skinner type blade.
