Several of those are on my must have list. Especially the large Nessmuk and the Lobo.

Thanks for posting these John. I'm going to have to get one of those Neckmuks before too long. There are some nice designs here. I really like the look of the Camper as well. Heck, I them all.

I was just thinking about a design like the survival knife you posted but I was thinking about one with a 7 to 8 inch blade, 1/4 inch thick and more aggressive spine saw.

Very nice looking knives up there.

+1 on the camper... is that similar to Protuorist Scally Wag?

It has a straight spine and the Galley Wag is slightly upswept. Otherwise, I'd say they're pretty darned close.

I hate coming back to this thread. That Gambler's Bowie is absolutely screaming at me.

Nice pictures, John!

I remember when you made that first survival knife, saying how much work it was to do the sawteeth on the spine.

Some good stuff here.

Mack - that knife was here at my house for a while last fall - it sold for Hanna's benefit and was shipped to a fine home in Alaska.

Perfect knife for Alaska and a perfect reason to sell it. I am thinking that when I get my life back, should be August of next year, I will have John make two of them. One just like that one and one with ebony scales.
