Older Stretch, patina on Steel?

So I own a version of the Stretch. It is a collectors version with ZDP189 steel and carbon fiber scales. Thing is it's beginning to develop a patina. I didn't expect this. Is this normal or...?

That is normal, I have one that looks very similar.

Thanks. I kind if thought so. I guess with ZDPs reputation the last thing I think of is oxidation. Awesome steel, especially with the stretch's blade geometry.

ZDP has so much Chromium in it, you'd not think it would stain so easily, but it does. If you get tired of the stains, wipe the blade down with some Flitz or other metal polish.
