Older vs. Newer Spyderench?

Hello all.

I was looking at Spyderenches and noticed that the older models have a rougher finish to the body and the newer models have a smoother finish with "USA" stamped on them. Is there a difference in the metal, the manufacturing process, or strength between the older and newer Spyderenches? Thanks in advance.
