I've bee looking over my knives, of which I have too many, and realized that between my JK Phoenix, Rule #9, Pocket Scandi, and JK Original...I've got my bases covered.

Here's to a good year. Learn something new, rediscover something old, and have a fun time doing everything in-between.

Nice mix of knives.

Thankfully I am learning new stuff with the new job and hope to rediscover something old and a good time will be had by all.:)

Here, here!

These were the first JK's I owned

here's to the good ones, that age but don't get old

Nice blades. I used to have two bushcrafters. My sons own them now. Excellent knives.

The first knife Rockywolf ordered, back in 2009.

First JK that still always seems to push itself to the front of the rotation for gatherings, wanderings, etc...

This truly is one of my favorite users. It has few peers in my knife stable that can compete for the all-around title.

this forum is a great community and i feel privileged to be a part of it.

unfortunately, my first JK's are now gone, as i tried to discover the right knife for me.

my first was an EDC with a kephart handle. i will have to find a pic of it. i really like the kepharts i keep seeing. i may need to get a new one. ;)

With all of the changes over the past few years I have also realized I have more knives than I will ever need. I have been buying much less, giving a few away, and trading whenever I can but have not been able to part with many JKs except for a couple I gave to my son. My love for John's knives started with the Hiker and it's still one of my favorites.

Those were great pics I took! I miss that knife. Micarta liners. You still have any of them?

I still use thick black liners on occasion. I just finished a Utility for myself, with thick black liners, thin red liners and black linen micarta. I`ll have to post some pictures.

Some of the JK classics I no longer have.

In the pic is the Bloodwood handled Hiker Todd & Pete had before me.
That's one traveling hiker right there.Great pattern too.
As is the Phoenix that went for a good cause.(our favorite little fighter).
And that Hudson Bay, man what a knife that was.
And the first Hawk out of the JK shop.
And the LRK I rehandled.I believe I auctioned it off for our favorite little fighter too.

All classics,all missed....
