i really liked the "combat machetes," especially the 12" models. I'm glad I got my barongs before they were discontinued. I know they brought back the 12" bowie machete, here's to a rebirth of the spear point (like a gladius), the barong, and the sax.

I have a 12 inch spear -giggity- point machete with a sharpened back.

Psst! Theres one on eBay at the time of this post. Gogogogogo! You're welcome.

OMG, that would be NASTY to deal with!!! The CS machete line is inexpensive, easy to mod, tough as nails, easy to maintain with a file and a big ceramic rod, YOU will melt before the handles do, etc. Can of Rustoleum, dead blow hammer, flat hardwood surface, you're good to go. I wouldn't want to meet a puppy in an alley with one on a dark night, much less a human with bad intentions and a modicum of sharpening ability!!! They kick butt.
