Every part of me was screaming to shine up the brass on this Kodiak and a pile of other slightly neglected vintage Case knives that I bought a while back. Though I must admit that I don't really know for sure, if at all that it would affect the value? Looks to be just tarnish...what could a little scrub hurt:o

I've been told many different things when it comes to cleaning collectible knives and would love to hear more input on the matter.

To clean or not to clean??

Usually i would clean. But that's a beauty as is.I would just keep it stored properly and leave it alone.

A light polishing with Simichrome on a soft cloth will not hurt it.

Thanks for the input gents, I suppose i'll just leave her be for now. As much as I dont wanna!

All the best,
Birk
