I like that the Thrunite has a flat bottom, to stand up on end. Obviously, the Olight stands up too, but not made for it:

A few thoughts:

A nice little single mode light. Seems to be well made. Most photos I see of it look highly polished, but as you can see from the photos, it really isn't. Doesn't matter, as it will get a patina anyways. I think it would have been better with a flat end, to stand up. 35 minutes on an alkaline isn't that much time really, but we're talking 120 lumens. The eneloops NiMh give it 60 minutes, so a little better.

In all honesty, I bought this for the cool copper/patina factor, not really so much for the features. My Thrunite Ti3 (4 modes, .04Lm, 12Lm, 120Lm, plus 120Lm strobe) has more going for it, for $5 less. (Olight was $19.99 shipped)

Thanks for looking.

Cool little light, its specs smoke my Streamlight Microstream. I will have to look into one of these.

Nice. Would be a nice companion to my Maratac Copper AAA.

I've eye balled those things several times, and never pulled the trigger for whatever reason. They are sweet looking lights.

Yours came way more polished than mine. Nice though, eh?

I think it's just the light and the high def filter on my phone camera. It doesn't look that polished in person.

Yeah, it's a sweet little nugget with great tint and power.

I think I just got fingerprints on it before taking photos. I wiped it down with my shirt, and she definitely shines a bit more. Like I said, doesn't really matter once it gets a patina going.

I love the size of these lights and I will have to check this post out again when I have more time. Very interesting, thanks. I have 2-3 of those wind up rechargeable flashlights as I hate the idea of needing a battery. But one of these may end up on a key chain or something. Or in the wife's purse.

I like the size too. I'm very fond of my Thrunite Ti3. This one should work out well too.
