Olight S1R

This thing is amazing, thank you to Olight for sending it to me. Finally the popular S1 Baton that everyone loves with a built in charging system. Included in the minimalist packaging is a USB charging cable, lanyard and instructions. With 5 brightness levels including a sub-lumen moonlight and a 900lumen turbo, an electronic lock out feature, a magnetic charge cable and the pocket clip that is pretty standard for Olight which allows attachment to a cap what more could you ask for in an EDC light? When charging the end of the cable lights up red to indicate charging and green for charged. When electronically locked out the button will light up red if you attempt activation to let you know it's locked. Strobe and moonlight are not part of the normal UI but are easily accessed from off. Olight really hit it out of the park with this one and it might just be the best off the shelf EDC light ever. The beam is floody and no defined hotspot is evident. Turbo mode fades on and off, my guess this is to give your eyes time to adjust and not abruptly expose them to such a bright light and I have been intentionally looking for reasons to use this light and I haven't been able to go through a charge in the week or so I have had it. It steps down from turbo to high after rough my half a minute as advertised and it looks like run times will be close to advertised rates.
