Another great light sent to me by Olight.
This is a great 2xAA light for EDC. This one doesn't have a magnet in the tailcap like the S1A but the button is back lit which is a nice touch. Like other Olight products this one comes with some very minimalist packaging, instruction, 2x non rechargeable lithium cells and a very nice lanyard. It comes with a colored (black, grey, blue or yellow) rubber sleeve installed over the body of the Olight to give it quiet a bit of grip. Low, medium, high and turbo modes are all accessable through normal operation. This light also has a moonlight mode and strobe mode that are stashed away for when they are needed. Additionally this light has a built in timer that can be set for 3 or 9 minutes and it can be completely deactivated if you wish. With no defined hot spot this light has a nice floody beam and run times match closely to those advertised.
S1A vs. S2A
Backlit button
Low mode (10 lumens) with tree at 20 yards
Medium mode (50 lumens) with tree at 20 yards
High mode (300 lumens) with tree at 20 yards
Turbo mode (550 lumens) with tree at 20 yards
