Just recieved this yesterday and wanted to give some first impressions. Workmanship looks to be very good, as there are no rattles, switch works like it should and is not mushy at all, and threads are free of any leftover material and are easy to use when screwing/unscrewing the head to change lumens. This is the model that takes one 123CR battery. It is short enough and light enough to ride in a pocket with no problem. I carried it in my right rear pocket, next to my billfold, last night and forgot it was even there.

This is the first high powered LED I've had, besides my INOVA T-3, and I have had several lower powered LED's, under 60 lumens. I have to say that I've never had a flashlight that threw a center spot like this one does! It seems to be perfectly round with no bright and dim spots within it, and there is a good bit of indirect light surrounding that spot, enough that I could use it at night to walk. But that spot, especially on the 180 lumens setting, is intense! So far I like it and hope that it holds up and proves to be a great little light.

I didn't get the T-20 Q5 this go round, but I may go ahead and plan to order it next month if this one continues to prove itself.

I've read positive reviews on that light and it is good to see another such review.

Aren't the newer LED lights amazing.

I thought my ARC LS was fantastic (well, actually, I still carry mine every so often, so the LS is fantastic).

But these newer LED lights are simply amazing in power, size, runtime for light output, and price.

Makes me wonder what another few years will result in.

I agree orthogonal, another few years should see some amazing lights as long as the technology continues to grow and not stagnate. I've gotten to where I order a flashlight everytime I get a new knife! I know have as many lights as I have edc's.

That is a problem :) (so many lights as well as knives).

Fortunately, I tend to have year fads. Seems this year it will be lights for me (and older Microtechs - thankfully hard to come by).
