Having a hard time deciding between the two. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. I own a LD20 but would like a little smaller edc. Thanks in advance.
Cheers,

I sell both, but I like the interface on the LD10 better. I can get to the modes that I want faster. Other than that, they are very similar. Same LED, similar brightness, size, etc.

If you don't mind the high rider pocket clip, the 4Sevens Quark AA is leading the AA pack in that price range. Nitecore D10 is good too, with a less traditional UI and at a marginally higher price point. Clip sold separately on that one.

The LD10 is a good light, but the XR-E Q5 emitter is somewhat outdated.

Would the Olight emitter be newer technology? It seems the Olight may be the better value for the price because it will take 14500 lithium batteries and give a little higher lumen output. Any further advice? This is the problem I find shopping online, can't see it for myself firsthand.

Cheers,
Shane

Assuming you have the slightly older non clip version of the LD20, get the 1 AA body for it. All you have to do is swap the head round.

I think you might want to look at the Olight I15 Infinitum with 205 lumen output on a 14500 cell
I dont think a 14500 CELL will fit in a T15. Plus I like the anti-roll on the I15.
