Olight T15 vs Fenix L1D

I own the T15.

the main thing that decided me over the fenix is that it remembers your setting so you don't have to reset every time you turn on the light.. makes a big difference if you use it regularly.

My only complaint is the lack of pocket clip.. but i put it in my inova sheath and it fits better than the lights it was made for.

the olight is also very water proof I'm in the navy and it has some importance for me. we carry them for evacuation and damage control. They shut the lights out when there is any flooding so very important.

I have the L1D (and nothing else, so I don't know if any of its "Pros" are unique).

Pros:

1AA battery; Cheap & abundant
Extra bodies can be bought later to add runtime/power without having to buy multiple lights
Holster, lanyard and spare O-rings/switch cover included
Good output:size ratio for the price
Strobe mode (fun, and probably the quickest way of getting attention if you need it)

Cons:

No pocket clip available
The mode button is quite sensitive and it's easy to go too far (and have to come round again)
CR123A models offer size/output/runtime advantages

The Olight is the same as all of the L1A features except the holster and extra body attachments.

on top of the strobe it also has an SOS flash.

The cons are strikingly similar as well. Again, no pocket clip and the olight also is pretty sensitive with the power adjustment too.

I'd say still the biggest benefit of the olight is the memory ability to maintain the same setting and power level.
