Just ran across these at NGK. I went ahead and placed an order for the T20-Q5 Cree LED. Light runs on two 123CR's and has 5 settings with a strobe and SOS setting. The top output is 205 lumens for 1.5 hours and then down from there. Price is around $60.00.
anyone have one or know about them? I went to their website but not a lot of info. Good looking light though.

No one tried these yet? I've put a T20 and a T10 on order for the end of the month. The T20 uses 2 CR123's for a max of 205 lumens, and the T10 uses 1 CR123 for a ax output of 180 Lumens. They see to be priced the same as the Fenix lights with comparable features and I figure if NGK is carrying them they must be a good product.

i have one, and it is outstanding. great fit and finish...superb throw with good sidespill. i have been watching the Cree lights come out for the past year or so. i waited till i saw one with decent throw....and most importantly, no issues. over on CPF i haven't found even one bad comment from users.

it would be absolutely perfect if it would take 1 17670 cell, i understand a new model WILL take that cell. we'll wait and see.

Folks...Olight is the new Fenix kid on the block.

Thanks for the info bill. I've never gotten one of the Fenix lights but if the Olights are comparable I guess I'll pass on the Fenix. Man this flashlight thing is as addictive as the knife thing!!:D

+1 for Olight

I own and use the Fenix P2d Q5 and the Olight T10 Q5, and I like them both (these are the single cell CR123 lights, not the two cells like the T20). The Olight has better throw than the fenix IMO, with a really tight spot, but the Fenix is no slouch either. The Olight also has a lower low mode than the Fenix, which I like.

I think my Olight's finish is not as durable as the Fenix, though both are said to be HAIII anodized Al. The Olight seems a little easier to scratch up...this may be just my experience or my particular lights. If you don't plan to drop yours :) then this is not an issue, is it?

Dang! I was hoping against all hope that it would be a 'Western' Alternative. Bummer. Hey fellow Americans/Westerners! Make us a light!
