My cousin called me earlier today from a Gun/Knife show he was attending. There was an Olight booth at this show and he had started looking at them and got plum bent outa' shape. He likes a lot of light and these promised to give it to him! He had called to ask me about the brand and the quality of the lights. Having had one, my son still does, I thought them to be a decent light. In the same category as Fenix, 4Sevens, Itp, and a few others. He wanted to get the T-20 model, it uses 2 X 123CR batteries with a max output of 270 lumens. I looked it up online and found the average price to be in the mid/upper $50's. He called back a little later and said the vendor was blowing a few out as the end of the show was an hour away and that he was selling them for $40.00. I told him to hop on that and to buy two at that price and give me one for Christmas! He didn't, but he said the T-10's I had asked about were being sold for $30.00 during the final hour, so I told him to go ahead and pick me one of the 123CR versions up. He just dropped by a little bit ago to drop it off and so I thought an initial write up was in order.
First of all, this is the 2010 version, not that I am sure of the difference between the 2008 and 2010 versions. Everything the box said was inside it was indeed there. The spare O-rings, switch boot, laynard, and belt holster. A battery was also included. The light itself is well made with all the threads being cut clean and no problems encountered with tightening or untightning. The HA III black finish is even, with all writing clear and legible. The body tube is nicely knurled, with the tailcap and head also having some knurling to help with twisting on/off. I really like the small holster for this light and suspect this is the way I will carry it as the light is very unobstrubive once on the belt due to a high ride.
