Olive Knives

Does anyone have an organic experience with these knives? It seems like all of the reviews I see are from YouTube knife channels who may have free samples, so I’m not sure I believe the hype behind the grind. I tried to search BF and the only thing I see is sales threads. Any insight would be great. They look nice but they’re incredibly expensive.
 
For a unique design sure. But there are capable blades for less. The CPK BFK will be a better value
 
BFK order is open. MagnaCut and CruWear. There’s also a couple listed on the exchange. I saw get the CPK and support a maker on this forum.

Bruin is nice, but for the same price CPK is much much much better. I have both

Demko Freereign in 3V is an excellent knife for reasonable money...I think about $180. I got one at the urging of my buddies here, and it's my first fixed blade from them. (I have a few of their folders.) Check out Andrew's video on the Freereign in the Demko forum here.

That said, I'm an unrepentant CPK fan, and have a dozen or so of their knives, so I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

Not familiar with "Olive" or Nuge Bruin, so I can't offer an opinion.

The Demko is my lean at the moment. I just love Demko knives. Andrew and John only help the fanboyism too.

I've only spoken to John on the phone several times. He's a good guy and has been helpful when I've sought to get info on behalf of our membership.

I speak regularly with Nathan Carothers. Sometimes even about knives. LOL
