Does anyone have or has seen an Olsen Hatchet? I purchased one at a knife show today. I had never seen one before. It is cut out of a piece of steel and has micarta handles. Picked it up for $20.00. I figured I couldn't go wrong for that price. Any info would be helpful. The only thing I could find on searching was for Olsen Knives. The overall length is 13 3/4", the cutting edge is 4 5/8".

I have a throwing knife from Olsen in Howard City Michigan. Looks like the same type materials. I would guess its from them.

you got a good value, I have seen some one eck)(bay fo for 60 to 100 dollars. looks like a fun new toy to you,

Yeah, it's Olsen the knife company. They were an adjunct to their throwing knife line.

What steel is it made from? Also is the handle "linen Micarta" or some other type? Heck for $20 I don't see how you could go wrong.

I wonder what their throwing knives are like. Or what the reputation of the company is.

Interesting needless to say
