Olsen knife steel?

Wanted to ask what kind of steel is used on Olsen 4800?
Sharpening suggestions?
Like the knife/quality,just don't hear much about them.

Olsen imported quite a few knives from Solingen, but the ones they made in Howard city, MI were probably made out of 1070 or 1090 steel. There are dealers at the Michigan gun shows that still sell them, but Olsen has been defunct for quite a while.
