sorry I didn't post this earlier. my computer has been jacked up.
we started off on the olympic peninsula near the ho river. we hiked to mink lake, deer lake the next day and lunch lake the following day before hiking out. we did a ton of fly fishing, what a great place. I always love the last day when you talk about what fun you had, look at all the pictures you took, and drink a beer at the local store.

Great pics,better late than never.
My brother & I used to fish the Ho for steelhead back in the 90s,great river.
I do prefer fresh trout to eat,but you can't beat the fight of a steelhead.
Thanks for the memory jog.

Just moved from that area, actually. Glad to see that someone else had a chance to enjoy it as much as I did. Great pics!

love the pics ---i never could get any sunshine up in there. one can get seriously lost back in the penisula. heard stories of lakes back in deep that had 10 lb. rainbows. probably the best elk population in the state. thanks for showing.--dennis

Great pics buddy, I'm gonna have to get myself over the pond one day soon !

Ah, that explains it. I sent you a PM or email (can't remember which) a few weeks ago to that effect, but hadn't heard back.

Great pics, Boomstick! I was out in Seatle for work a couple years ago and got to spend a weekend exploring the Penninsula. Did some hiking in the Ho Rainforest and made it out to La Push for the sunset. Beautiful country!
